Ice Dragon: (Female) Environment: Polar Ice Caps This lovely creature sleeps under the ice 8 months out of the year and only comes to the surface on the coldest months. It's antlers are smaller then the males and are used to break up the ice when resurfacing. It's wings are used to swim just as much as they are used to fly. The large scales on it's belly are sharpened down the middle and used to help push through surface ice when swimming. They eat mostly fish and seals and use their large serpent like bodies to corral their prey and sweep their long jawed head down the middle. These are very playful creatures but only stay with their own kind under the ice though the younger ones love to play in the snow above the caps.
